Swedish company Game Lounge purchases betting.com domain name

Digital marketing company Game Lounge which has locations in Sweden, Spain and Malta has acquired premium domain name betting.com, the amount for which betting.com was purchased for has not been disclosed. As previously mentioned, Game Lounge is a digital marketing company which does online marketing for a number of different companies in different industries but their primary area of focus is online gaming and casinos.

Which speaks to the recent purchase of the domain name betting.com. The purchase of the domain name is part of Game Lounges plan to expand into the U.S. market and position themselves and get a strong foothold in the growing online betting market in the United States.

Game Lounge previously purchased Panorama Partners which was doing business as bettingmetrics.com, a platform as a service/sports betting software aimed to help bettors increase their profits. BettingMetrics.com has a strong presence in the United Kingdom but a part of Game Lounges plan to expand in the U.S. involves re-branding BettingMetric.com as betting.com.

Jonas Cederholm the Founder of Game Lounge released this statement regarding the purchase of betting.com.

Betting Metrics will in the coming weeks be re-branded as Betting.com and we look forward to working with both new and existing customers on this project.
